I chose to specialize in family photography after having my daughter. Kids used to scared me, they are impossible to control and so hard to pose, I would always say to myself. After having my first baby and feeling the importance of beautiful portraits of my own little while she was growing up - I wanted to provide the same amazing portraits to other families.

So how did I go from being scared of photographing kids to specializing in families with small kids? It was a whole change of philosophy and how I thought about children. I moved from "posing" kids, to playing with them, letting them feel comfortable in the environment, connecting with each child and seeing what makes them smile and laugh. Now I say it loud and proud, give me all the kiddos to photograph!
